"Stop the Water" While Using THIS

According to NYLON Magazine, the new Stop the Water While Using Me line of skin and bath products is designed to do just that: conserve (and save) water.

The line will be released later this year and features toothpastes, shampoos, conditioners and facewashes (among more). Further, each bottle comes equipped with the brand's message (a.k.a. their name) to remind users of the environment and to not be wasteful.

Oh, and they're organic. So the question is:

Where do we sign up?

Organic Cosmetics... even Mascara!

Josie Maran Cosmetics have developed an entire brand of organic, luxury makeup for the conscious consumer, sold at Sephora stores nationwide as well as online at the provided link.

Emma Watson unveils a new, shorter do.

Emma Watson unveiled a much shorter do this week, calling it "the most liberating thing ever."

The Harry Potter star told Entertainment Weekly that she had been wanting to cut her hair short since she was 16. However, she had to keep her long locks due to playing Hermione, but with the final Harry Potter installment wrapped, the star said she finally was free to cut it all off.

Watson said she knows people will have an opinion about it, but we at VIM think her new cut is cute and practical for college students. With Watson entering her second year at Brown University, her new gamine cut will slash her morning prep time significantly.

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part I will be released Nov. 19 and Part II this coming summer--on July 15, 2011.

Easy Summer Hairstyles

Braided Updo

This style always looks classy and is really easy to do on your own. Simply craft a loose braid that spans from your part across half of your forehead around to the back of your head. Then bobby pin the remainder in whichever fashion you see fit. Ta-da, you're all set for a day in the sun or a night on the town!

As seen on Kristen Stewart (left).

Untamed Half Up, Half Down

This hairdo transitions easily from a day on the job (at your summer internship, perhaps) to late-night drinks with the girls. The slight bump toward the back adds a classic '60s edge to this half up, half down style. The loose way in which it is pulled back won't give you a headache, either.

As seen on Camilla Belle (right).

Fake the Bake

As the summer temperatures continue to soar, many of us are devoted to getting that perfect golden tan. Unfortunately, frying in high UV rays accelerates skin aging (wrinkles, age spots, etc.) and can cause cancer. Mothers urge us to wear high SPF lotion—and while we may not want to admit it, they are right. SPF is vital and should be a part of your daily skincare regimen. Use a daily moisturizer that has SPF 15 or higher to be fully protected from the sun’s dangerous rays. If you are out in the sun, be sure to reapply face and body SPF lotion periodically and after swimming.

For a safe golden glow, here are our top picks for self-tanners and bronzers—whether you want a slightly sun-kissed look or a savagely bronzed tan.

1. Stila Bronzing Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15- $32, stilacosmetics.com This daily face moisturizer—infused with 24kt gold—gives a gleaming, flawless look instantly, in addition to the bronze tint that comes within two days.

2. Maybelline Dream Mousse Bronzer in Copper- $5.99, Walgreens The easy-to-apply air-whipped formula is extremely lightweight and perfect for those smothering humid days. No need for a fancy brush— you can apply with your fingertips!

3. Too Faced Tanning Bed In A Tube for Body- $22.50, Sephora Say goodbye to your tanning goggles! This body lotion gives an instant golden shimmer as well as a gradual tan.

4. Neutrogena Sun Fresh Sunless Foam- $9.99, CVS Pharmacy With a refreshing grapefruit and nectarine scent, this foam formula is ultra-light and absorbs easily into your skin.

5. MAC To The Beach Bronzing Powder in Golden- $22.00, maccosmetics.com This superfine bronzer compact provides glistening, warm highlights for the face and body.

Get your (sunless) tan on!

CoverGirl Smoky ShadowBlast

I'm sure you've seen advertisements for this new CoverGirl product in just about every magazine since spring but we just had to recommend it here; our favorite color combos are orange/green and purple/gray. ShadowBlast is so easy to apply and can really make eyes pop. You can find it, priced around $7.99, at any drugstore (though we're finding that popular colors are often out of stock - so go quick!).

Happy applying :)

True or Falsies

In 1971, Maybelline revolutionized limp eyelashes with the creation of Great Lash Mascara, the first mascara to provide colossal volume and ample length. With its bright green and pink packaging, Great Lash became a staple in women’s makeup bags. Great Lash remains the best selling mascara ever created, selling 20 million tubes annually and winning countless beauty awards every year. If you aren’t a Great Lash user, someone you know is. Well, my friends and fellow Great Lash devotees, Maybelline has done it again.

In an attempt to dispel the tedious task of applying fake eyelashes, Maybelline created The Falsies Volum’ Express Mascara. It is a kera-fiber mascara that instantly builds lashes up to eight times the volume to give a false eyelash look. The brush has a spoon-style curve, which allows better access to every lash across your upper lid. The brush lifts lashes upwards and out, which gives a perfect curl, great volume and substantial length. Die-hard Great Lash fans, welcome to the future of mascara!

Maybelline, The Falsies Volum' Express Mascara, $8.99 at drugstores nationwide in July.
