Save Up and Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is

Starbucks reported in January that they will be raising prices this year (tisk, tisk). As a result, many of us may need to start occasionally skipping that morning latte and what better way to save than with a cool, new piggy bank.

Well, we've found that for you in the Coffee Fund Money Box.

You can purchase the bank for around $8 here.

"Stop the Water" While Using THIS

According to NYLON Magazine, the new Stop the Water While Using Me line of skin and bath products is designed to do just that: conserve (and save) water.

The line will be released later this year and features toothpastes, shampoos, conditioners and facewashes (among more). Further, each bottle comes equipped with the brand's message (a.k.a. their name) to remind users of the environment and to not be wasteful.

Oh, and they're organic. So the question is:

Where do we sign up?

Crazy or Cool?

We'll let you be the judge of that.

Self-taught photographer Mariel Clayton creates all her work with a 35mm camera...using Barbie as a subject.

That's right: Barbie.

But not just ordinary Barbie, psychopathic Barbie (to be fair, sometimes Barbie doesn't look all that psycho in Clayton's work). Despite finding this art a little bit odd, we couldn't stop flipping through the site to see what Barbie would be doing next. After all, she was our favorite toy as a child.

Anyway, thoughts?

A wonderful feminist spoken word piece

Lauren Zuniga performs a poem for the Oklahoma legislators that are trying so hard to take away women's reproductive rights. The bill in question will require women to receive an ultrasound and listen to the baby's heartbeat before an abortion.
