International Women's Day - Events in Calgary

International Women's Day (IWD) is celebrated every year on March 8. Here is a list of some of the events happening in Calgary (follow links for more info).

• Lunch and Panel Discussion at the Calgary Public Library (downtown location) - Friday March 6th from 11:00 - 1:30.
• IWD Celebration and Potluck - organized by the Women's Centre of Calgary - Thursday March 5th from 5:30 - 8:30 pm.
• Day-long celebrations (10:00-3:00) on Friday March 6th at the Women's Centre on the University campus
• Yoga and a celebration at the Sky Bar on Saturday March 8th (see "comments" section below for another link and more info). Thanks to Lilith Attack for the tip.
